उमेदवारी अर्ज दाखल करण्यापूर्वी श्री महालक्ष्मी मंदिरात प्रार्थना पणजी महानगर पालिका निवडणुकीसाठी Babush Monserrate यांच्या पॅनेलचे उमेदवार सज्ज झाले असून, उमेदवारी अर्ज दाखल करण्यापूर्वी त्यांनी पणजीतील Shri Mahalaxmi मंदिरात जाऊन प्रार्थना केली.मंदिरात दर्शन घेऊन विजयाचा संकल्प व्यक्त केल्यानंतर उमेदवारांनी औपचारिकरित्या आपले उमेदवारी अर्ज दाखल केले. निवडणुकीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर राजकीय वातावरण तापले असून सर्व पॅनेल्सने प्रचाराला वेग दिला आहे.
