सांडपाणी ओसंडल्याने प्रभू इमारतीतील रहिवाशांचे आंदोलन

सुमारे ३०० फ्लॅटमधील रहिवाशांचे आरोग्य धोक्यात; ७ दिवसांत दूषित पाणी हटवण्याचा आरोग्य विभागाचा नोटीस सांडपाणी उघड्यावर सोडले जाऊन ते ओसंडत असल्यामुळे प्रभू इमारतीतील रहिवाशांनी तीव्र नाराजी व्यक्त करत तातडीने कारवाईची मागणी केली आहे. या परिसरात सुमारे ३०० फ्लॅटमध्ये जवळपास हजार रहिवासी राहतात उद्भवलेल्या परिस्थितीमुळे अनेक जण आजारी पडल्याचा आरोप स्थानिकांनी केला आहे. अनेक वेळा विविध विभागांकडे तक्रारी करूनही दखल घेतली जात नसल्याचे रहिवाशांचे म्हणणे आहे. दरम्यान, कॉर्टालीम आरोग्य केंद्राच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी घटनास्थळी पाहणी करून दूषित पाणी सात दिवसांत हटवण्याचे निर्देश दिले असून अन्यथा वीजपुरवठा खंडित करण्याची कारवाई केली जाऊ शकते, असा इशारा नोटीसद्वारे देण्यात आला आहे. तसेच रहिवाशांनी प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाकडेही तक्रार केली असून अद्याप कोणतीही ठोस कारवाई झालेली नसल्याचा आरोप करण्यात आला आहे.
