Ship-shaped terminal reflects Goa’s maritime heritage and future vision. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has described the newly inaugurated Captain of Ports building as a unique landmark, designed in the shape of a ship — the first of its kind in India.Speaking at the event, he said the structure reflects Goa’s rich maritime heritage while symbolising the state’s vision for a stronger and more progressive maritime future. The modern facility is expected to improve administrative efficiency and support the growth of Goa’s port sector.
