Over 20 roadside eateries inspected; several served notices for operating in unsafe and unhygienic conditions In a major hygiene enforcement drive, the Food and Drugs Administration team conducted surprise raids across the popular Calangute–Baga coastal stretch, targeting illegal roadside stalls selling tea and snacks in unhygienic conditions. Around 20 such stalls were inspected, and several were served notices for violating food safety norms. The operation was carried out to ensure the safety of tourists and locals frequenting the area.
