Protest against rising electricity charges halted before reaching minister’s residence The Aam Aadmi Party “Dhadak Morcha” towards the residence of Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar was stopped by police during a protest against rising electricity bills in Goa. Party leaders, workers, and citizens had joined the march alleging exorbitant power charges affecting consumers. Police intervened and prevented the protesters from reaching the minister’s residence. The AAP said it would continue to raise the issue and demand relief for electricity consumers.
