AAP Goa Slams BJP Over Power Outages, Threatens ‘Viz Andolan 2.0’

AAP Goa has criticised the BJP-led government for failing to ensure regular and affordable electricity supply, alleging that consumers continue to face frequent power disruptions despite sufficient power availability. AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik stated that the Power Department recorded around 25,000 unplanned outages in the first three months of the year, averaging nearly 35 power cuts per day. He further warned that if the government does not roll back the smart meter system within 15 days, the party will launch “Viz Andolan 2.0” as part of its protest.
