AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik has criticised the state government over alleged failure to provide uninterrupted and affordable electricity, stating that power supply is a basic necessity and not a luxury.He claimed that despite adequate power availability, poor distribution management has led to frequent outages affecting citizens. Naik also stated that the Electricity Department itself had acknowledged around 25,000 unplanned power disruptions, averaging nearly 35 outages per day in the first three months of the year.The AAP leader said people across Goa continue to face hardships due to the recurring power cuts.
