Proposes Water Metro from Mormugao Harbour to Dona Paula Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar has urged the state government to prioritize the development of cruise tourism at Mormugao Port, citing its immense potential to boost economic growth and attract more tourists to Mormugao Taluka and across Goa. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of promoting Goa’s waterways for sustainable transport, Salkar suggested introducing a Water Metro, with a pilot route from Mormugao Harbour to Dona Paula.
