Calangute Bids Farewell to Freedom Fighter Gopal Damodar Caculo

Guard of Honour and tributes mark final farewell Freedom fighter and cultural icon Gopal Damodar Caculo was laid to rest with a Guard of Honour by Goa Police. MLA Michael Lobo, Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira, and locals paid heartfelt tributes. Known for his bhajans at Damodar Temple, he wrote 24 devotional songs, promoted Shigmo, Narkasur competitions, and made lasting contributions to Calangute’s cultural life.
