Chandel–Hasapur Alternative Road Submerged, Residents Seek Bus Services

Locals demand bus services on bridge. The alternative road connecting Chandel and Hasapur has been closed after being submerged due to rising water levels, disrupting daily travel for residents. At present, only two-wheelers and four-wheelers are allowed to use the newly constructed bridge.With the alternative route inaccessible, locals have urged the authorities to permit at least passenger buses and school buses to operate across the new bridge. They say the move would provide much-needed relief to commuters and students until normal connectivity is restored.
