CM Inaugurates ₹125 Crore Hazardous Waste Facility at Pissurlem

CHWTSDF to Serve Goa for Next 100 Years Under PPP Model Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Common Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage & Disposal Facility at Pissurlem Industrial Estate, developed by GWMC in collaboration with Ponda Envocare Limited and GIEMA. Built under the PPP model with an investment of over ₹125 crore, the state-of-the-art plant will ensure scientific hazardous waste management, generate local jobs, and operate under strict GWMC monitoring, serving Goa sustainably for the next century.
