FDA Cracks Down on Food Safety Violations, 9 Units Told to Shut

Surveillance drive across Candolim, Anjuna, Vagator and Mapusa targets non-compliant food establishments The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) inspected 17 food business establishments during a surveillance drive across Candolim, Anjuna, Vagator and Mapusa on July 16. Nine units were directed to suspend operations after officials found violations of food safety regulations. The FDA said inspections will continue across Goa and urged food business operators to strictly comply with prescribed norms.
