Fire brigade rushes to spot after neighbour alerts emergency services A fire broke out at a closed house in Chimbel early Sunday morning, prompting an emergency response from the Fire and Emergency Services. The incident was reported around 7:15 am near the Panchayat area after a neighbour noticed smoke and flames coming from the locked house and alerted authorities. Firefighters from the Headquarters Fire Station rushed to the site and managed to control the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
