Two-month seasonal ban to be lifted, trawlers set to resume operations. Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar announced that the two-month annual fishing ban will be lifted on August 1. With the ban ending, trawlers and other mechanised boats are expected to resume full-scale fishing operations across Goa’s coastal waters.
