Lecture Marks Goa Revolution Day on Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia’s Role in Liberation Struggle

Experts Highlight His Contribution to Goa’s Freedom Movement To commemorate Goa Revolution Day, the Goa Rashtra Seva Dal and the Gomantak Marathi Academy jointly organised a lecture at the Academy auditorium in Porvorim on the theme “Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia’s Contribution to the Goa Liberation Struggle.”The lecture was delivered by noted humanist writer and thinker Dr. Sunil Kumar Lavte, who highlighted the key role of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia in inspiring the Goa freedom movement.The programme was presided over by Ramesh Gaus and attended by Pradeep Amonkar, Suhas Thakur Desai, and Prabhakar Dhage, reflecting on the sacrifices that led to Goa’s liberation in 1961.
