IMD says break phase normal, rainfall likely to improve after June 18 The Southwest Monsoon has slowed down across Goa after an initially swift onset, with the India Meteorological Department stating that no heavy rainfall is expected in the state for the next five days. IMD Goa officials said the region has not received the expected heavy spells during the first half of June, leading to a rise in temperatures.
