12-Hour Pump Shutdown Under JICA Project Caused Temporary Disruption Authorities have clarified that there is no collapse at the Salaulim Dam, dismissing viral social media posts as misleading. Officials stated that a temporary 12-hour shutdown was carried out due to a technical issue with one of the pump sets under the JICA project. Assistant Engineer Naresh Hede confirmed that two pump sets are fully operational and that water supply to Vasco residents remains unaffected.
