Calls for urgent repairs or redevelopment into modern housing complex Local leader Rajan Korgaonkar has raised concerns over the deteriorating condition of the police residential quarters behind the Pernem Police Station, urging the government to take immediate action. Following an inspection of the site, Korgaonkar said the structures are in a dilapidated state and either require urgent repairs or complete redevelopment. He suggested constructing a modern residential complex, including housing for economically weaker sections, to replace the aging quarters.
